1,2,3,4, I declare a war

Don't you just hate leeches.

They turn up on those days where the sun has decided not to wake up.

Then they hunt you down, looking to suck your veins dry.

And once they are victorious, there's no stopping them. One thing leads to another, and they want to conquer more parts of you. So they lie low, biding their time, hiding in some nook or crevice. Eventually you realise they're still there.

But it's too late. They've already started stealing parts of you.

Don't you just hate leeches?

(Photos I took of a leech. This little guy isn't unlucky enough to have a war waged on him by me though, and is happily living in my garden)

It’s alive!
Spewing waste that litters the earth!
Incredible, unstoppable titan of terror!
Mightiest monster! Mightiest melodrama of them all!
Civilisation crumbles as its death sentence consumes the cities of billions all over the earth!

Washing Power

It's raining today after almost a month of Autumn heat.

I think we should all run out and dance in the rain fully clothed.

Not only will we save energy and water by not using our washing machines, but a sense of happiness that creates involuntary smiles will occur.

Dream Weaver

I dreamt I was in France the other night.

I was in a hurry to get somewhere, but was taking my time to buy pastries.

The lady handing me the most delicious looking caramel slice spoke to me in French, a language I unfortunately don't speak, mixed with German, a language I do.

It was my first multilingual dream.

Parlez-vous français?

Nein, Spreche ich Deutsch.
