I've worked out a way to make crazy, sustainable, wearable art pieces and pass them off as part of my major work collection.
I am going to make a series of collars and pieces of jewellery that utilise all the little scraps of fabric that I've been saving from the garbage since I started the collection.
Not a single piece of fabric has yet made it to the bin. And so yesterday, I spent some time using the scraps to make this neckpiece.
Whether or not it makes the cut doesn't matter. It has made me enjoy the collection again, bringing what I like doing to what the tutors expect me to do.
And there is nothing wrong with that.
